Step into history at the Historic Lucks Cannery Event Center. Originally established as the Mountain View Canning Company in 1947, it has been modernized to include all the conveniences, technology and comfort of today. The Cannery stands as a premier venue for weddings, birthdays, trade show, conferences, and civic meetings.

Seagrove is located in Randolph County, the center of North Carolina and is home to over 75 potters, with the North Carolina Zoo only 15 minutes away.

Amenities
With over 28,000 total sq ft available for rent The Cannery can accommodate events of any size. The lower event space includes Thompson Hall, Martha Comer Community Center, the Artwalk Gallery, male and female multi stall restrooms, catering kitchen and a 5000 sq ft outdoor patio for a total of 15,660 sq ft. Halls A and B encompass 17,438 sq ft with multi stall restrooms, and a concession/catering kitchen area with anticipated rental starting in the Fall of 2025. All larger spaces can be separated with pipe and drape.

Amenities for rent include round tables that seat 6, folding chairs, table linens, pipe and drape, a 12’ x 32’ stage and a sound system and audio visual equipment. We can refer you to several local catering companies to provide light refreshments to plated meals, including wine and beer for your event.
